FALSE TEACHERS ABOUND!

FALSE TEACHERS ABOUND IN THE CHURCH TODAY!

Matthew 7:15 - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Romans 16:17-18 - Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them.  For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

1 Timothy 1:3-7 - As I besought you to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that you might charge some that they teach no other doctrine, neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith:  so do.  Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:  from which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

1 Timothy 6:3-5, 20-21 - If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strife of words, whereof comes envy, strife, railings, evil surmising, perverse disputes of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:  from such withdraw yourself. - - -  O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:  which some professing have erred concerning the faith.  Grace be with you.  Amen.

2 Timothy 2:23But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strife.

Titus 3:9 - But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

1 John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

BELIEVERS MUST DISCERN THE TRUE FROM THE FALSE!

Acts 17:11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Note:  The interpretation of a teaching is found in the Scriptures!

2 Peter 1:20-21 - Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:  but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

STUDY AND MEDITATE ON THE WORD OF GOD SO THAT WHEN
A FALSE TEACHING COMES ALONG, YOU WILL NOT BE FOOLED!
