I AM AN ADOPTED CHILD OF GOD!

SONS (CHILDREN) OF GOD!

Matthew 5:9 - Blessed are the peacemakers (having made peace with God by faith in Jesus Christ, His Only Begotten Son - see Rom. 5:1; Col. 1:20):  for they shall be called the children of God.

Luke 20:34-36 - And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:  but those who shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:  neither can they die any more:  for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

John 1:10-13 - He (Jesus) was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.  He came unto His own (people, the Jews), and His own received Him not.  But as many as received (accepted) Him, to them gave He power to become the sons (children) of God, even to those who believe on His name (Jesus means "Jehovah saves" - see Mt. 1:21):  Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 11:49-52 - And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, You know nothing at all, nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.  And this spoke he not of himself:  but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; and not for that nation only, but that also He should gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad.

Romans 8:14-19 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons (children) of God.  For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  For the earnest expectation of the creature (created ones) waits for the manifestation of the sons (children) of God.

Galatians 3:26 - For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 2:14-15 - Do all things without murmuring (complaining and disputing (arguing):  that you may be blameless and harmless, (living as) the sons (children) of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world....

1 John 3:1-2, 10-11 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons (children) of God: therefore the world does no know us, because it did not know Him.  Beloved, now are we the sons (children) of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. - - - In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:  whosoever does not righteousness (the right and just thing) is not of God, neither is he who loves not his brother.  For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

WE DO NOT BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD BY BEING RELIGIOUS;

WE BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD WHEN WE ARE 

ADOPTED INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD 

BECAUSE OUR FAITH IS IN JESUS CHRIST!
