THE UNPARDONABLE SIN! 

Matthew 12:22-32 - [22] Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.  [23] And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?  [24] But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow does not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.  [25-26] And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:  and if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?  [27] And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out?  Therefore they shall be your judges.  [28] But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.  [29] Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?  And then he will spoil his house.  [30] He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathers not with Me scatters abroad.  [31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:  but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.  [32] And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:  but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. 

SOME OBSERVATIONS:
* Jesus healed him in the power of the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost (vv. 22, 28).
* It is blasphemy to attribute the work of the Spirit of God to Beelzebub (vv. 24, 31-32).
* The miracle by Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, was evidence of His identity, a sign. 
* Failure to believe the Spirit's proof, is blasphemy; it is calling Him a liar. 
* Rejection of the proof is rejection of the person of Jesus.  
* Rejection of Jesus is the rejection of His substitutionary death for their sins.  


* Here then is my understanding as based upon John 8:24 - I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins:  for if you do not believe the evidence that I am Who I say I am, you shall die in your sins.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS STILL POINTING TO JESUS!

Acts 2:22-24, 32 -  [22-24] You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God (the Spirit - see Acts 5:4-5) did by Him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know:  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:  Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death:  because it was not possible that He should be holden of (held by) it. - - - [32] This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO COMMIT THE UNPARDONABLE SIN, WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST!
