Matthew 6:33 - Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness (holiness; perfection; that which is in harmony with God)....

Romans 9:30-32 - What shall we say then?  That the Gentiles, who made no attempt to be righteous, have attained righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith; but the Jews, who attempted to earn their own righteousness by the works of the Law of Moses, have not lived up to God's standard of righteousness.  Why?  Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the religious works of the Law....

2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He (our heavenly Father) has made Him (Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son) to be sin for us, Who had no sin of His own (see Hebrews 4:15); that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us....

Romans 1:16-17 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes it; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (non-Jew; Gentile).  For therein is the righteousness of (which is from) God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just (righteous) shall live by faith.

Romans 10:17 - So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - (The Gospel) - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:  and that He was seen by Peter, then by the twelve:  after that, He was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some have since died.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace (unmerited favor) are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.

James 1:21 - ...receive with meekness the Word of God, which is able to save your souls.
