RELIGIOUS WORKS ARE THE OPPOSITE OF FAITH!

ONE DOES NOT GET TO GO TO HEAVEN BY DOING GOOD WORKS!

Matthew 7:21-23 - Not every one that says unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father* Who is in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name?  And in Your name have cast out devils?  And in Your name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity.

Note:  * "the will of My Father" is stated in John 6:28-29 - "Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?  Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe in Him Whom He has sent."  In other words, it is the will of God that we should believe in the Only Begotten Son of God:  Jesus (see John 3:16)!

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace (unmerited favor) are you saved through faith; and that (salvation is) not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us....

HEAVEN IS FOR THOSE WHO TRUST IN THE FINISHED WORK OF JESUS!

John 19:28-30 - After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst.  Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar:  and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth.  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished:  and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost (died).

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 - For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures....

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 - Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God.  For He (our Heavenly Father) has made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin (committed no sin - see Hebrews 4:15); that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Galatians 1:3-5 - Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:  to Whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.

BECAUSE GOD IS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, WE WANT TO DO HIS WILL!

Matthew 5:14-16 - You are the light of the world.  A city that is set on an hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God had before ordained that we should walk in them.

Philippians 2:13 - For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Titus 2:13-14 - Looking for that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

REGARDLESS OF WHICH RELIGION, DENOMINATION, SECT, OR CULT YOU ARE TRUSTING IN TO GO TO HEAVEN, YOU WILL NEVER GET THERE APART FROM BELIEVING IN JESUS CHRIST, WHO IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE; NO ONE SHALL SEE HEAVEN EXCEPT BY FAITH IN HIM!
