A LOOK BACK AT 2016 AND AHEAD TO 2017

2016 was a horrible year for America!  With a President, who hates his own country, ignores the United States Constitution, who sets himself up in the spirit of antichrist, by supporting illegal immigration, Islamic terrorism, abortion; one who hates Israel, Christianity, and Whites, who loves unisex bathrooms, etc.; he is best described by - Isaiah 5:20 - "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil...."  America has become a nation that is being cursed by Almighty God; we are wrong about:

Israel - Genesis 12:1-3 - "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:  And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

Abortion - Exodus 23:7 - "Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not:  for I will not justify the wicked."

Idolatry - Romans 1:22-25 - "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."

Blasphemy - Exodus 20:7 - "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain."

Rebellion - Colossians 3:20 - "Children, obey your parents in all things:  for this is well pleasing unto the Lord."

Murder - 1 John 3:5 - "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him."

Adultery - 2 Peter 2:14 - "Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin...."

False Testimony - Exodus 20:16 - "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."

Envy - Exodus 20:17 - "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's."

But 2017 "appears" to be a better year; the new President "appears" to be a friend of Israel, against abortion, against welfare abuse, a strong pro-business, for Second Amendment rights, etc.!  He truly appeals to conservative Americans and to Israel.  My question is, doesn't the Antichrist take control with peace promises, especially with Israel?  Trump will have a majority in both the House and the Senate; he will be able to get Supreme Court Justices confirmed; he will look ideal as the new Commander-in Chief, building up a strong military....  What if he is not the man we hope he is?

 

IN THIS DAY AND AGE, THE ONLY MAN WE SHOULD TRUST IS JESUS CHRIST!
