A TREE IS IDENTIFIED BY ITS FRUIT

*  Matthew 7:20-23 (SLV) - Wherefore by their fruit you shall know them.  Not everyone who says unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name?  And in Your name have we not cast out devils?  And in Your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:  depart from Me, you who work iniquity.

*  Galatians 5:15-23 (SLV) - This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.  For the flesh wars against the Spirit, and the Spirit wars against the flesh:  and these are contrary to one another:  so that you cannot do the things that you want to do.  But if you are led of the Spirit, you are not under the Law.  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:  of these I tell you now, as I have also told you in times past, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.

*  2 Timothy 2:19 (SLV) - Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows those who are His. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

*  Titus 2:11-14 (SLV) - For the grace of God which brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

*  James 1:22-25 (SLV) - But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.  For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:  for he beholds himself, and goes his way, and immediately forgets what manner of man he is.  But whosoever looks into the perfect law of liberty, and desires to live accordingly, he, being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, shall be rewarded for his efforts.
