ONLY ONE "WORK" CAN SAVE THE LOST: FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

JESUS, THE GIFT FROM GOD
JOHN 3:14-18 (SLV)

 [14-18]  "...as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through faith in Him, might be saved.  He who believes in Him is not condemned:  but those who do not believe, are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

JESUS, THE BREAD FROM HEAVEN

JOHN 6:27-35 (SLV)
[27]  "Labor not for the bread which perishes, but for that Bread which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you:  for it is He Whom God the Father has sealed." 

 [28]  "Then they said unto Him, 'What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?'"
 [29]  "Jesus answered and said unto them, 'This is the work of God, that you believe on Me the One Whom the Father has sent.'" 
 [30]  "Therefore, they said unto Him, 'What evidence do You show us then, that we may see, and believe on You?  What will You do?  Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.'"
 [32-33]  "Then Jesus said unto them, 'Truly, truly, I say unto you, Moses did not give you that bread from heaven; but My Father gives you the true Bread from heaven.  For the Bread of God is the One Whom came down from heaven, and gives life unto the world."
 [34] "Then they said unto Him, 'Lord, do not cease giving us this Bread.'"
 [35]  "And Jesus said unto them, 'I AM the Bread of life:  he that comes to faith in Me shall never hunger; and he who does not believe in Me shall never thirst.'"

SALVATION:  BELIEVE IN JESUS, AND PUBLICLY PROCLAIM HIM AS LORD

ROMANS 10:8-13 AND 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21 (SLV)

  [10:8-13]  "But what does God's Word say?  You have the Word; it is even in your mouth, and in your heart:  that is, the Word of faith which we preach; that if you will verbally acknowledge Jesus as your Lord, and you believe with all your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with his heart, a man believes and is declared by God to be righteous; and with his mouth, his acknowledgment of Jesus as his Lord, results in his salvation.  For the Scripture says, 'Whosoever believes in Him shall not be ashamed.'  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile: for the same Lord is rich unto all who call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

 [5:21]  "For the Father has made Jesus to be sin for us, He Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God through faith in Him."

THE ONLY "WORK" GOD ACCEPTS IS THE WORK OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS!
