NOW ARE WE THE SONS OF GOD

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?  Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which IS born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:  so is every one that IS born of the Spirit" (John 3:3-8).

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they ARE the sons of God.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we ARE the children of God" (Romans 8:14-16).

"But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is NOW" (Galatians 4:29).

"Do all things without murmurings and disputings:  that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world" (Philippians 2:14-15).

"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever" (1 Peter 1:23).

"If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness IS born of Him" (1 John 2:29).

"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God:  therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.  Beloved, NOW are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. (1 John 3:1-2).

"Whosoever  IS born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he IS born of God" (1 John 3:9).

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth IS born of God, and knoweth God. (1 John 4:7).

"Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ IS born of God: and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of Him.  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.  For whatsoever IS born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God" (1 John 5:1-5).

"We know that whosoever  IS born of God sinneth not; but he that IS begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not" (1 John 5:18).
