THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAN'S WAY AND GOD'S WAY!

Isaiah 55: 6-9 - Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near:  let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts:  and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.  For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the LORD.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

RELIGION:  MAN'S ATTEMPT TO ACHIEVE ETERNAL LIFE!

Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 16:25 - There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Mark 7:7, 13 - Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. . . . Making the Word of God of none effect through your tradition, which you have delivered: and many such like things you do.

Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

RELIANCE:  TRUSTING IN GOD'S PROVISION FOR ETERNAL LIFE!

John 3:14-18 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (Numbers 21:7-9), even so must the Son of man be lifted up (crucified - John 12:32-33):  that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believes in Him is not condemned:  but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.

John 14:6 - Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life:  no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.

1 Peter 1:18-21 - Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation (religious way of life) received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by Him do believe in God, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

BELIEVING IN JESUS IS NOT A RELIGION, BUT A RELATIONSHIP!

John 1:11-13 - He came unto His own (Israel), and His own received Him not.  But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons (children) of God, even to them that believe on His name:  which are born (again - John 3:5-9), not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Romans 8:15-16 - For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

1 John 3:1-2 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons (children) of God:  therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not.  Beloved, now are we the sons (children) of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
