THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR SALVATION!
John 3:3-8 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind blows where it listeth (where it wills), and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell from where it comes, and where it goes: so it is with every one who is born of the Spirit.
Note: Our first birth is our coming forth out of our mother's womb (v. 4), a water-birth (v. 5), a physical, fleshly birth (v. 6). The second birth is the work of the Holy Spirit (v. 6-7),
John 6:63 - It is the Spirit Who quickens (makes alive); the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life.
THE WORK OF THE FATHER IN OUR SALVATION!
John 3:16-18 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes in Him is not condemned: but he that does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.
John 6:44 - No man can come to Me, except the Father Who has sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
THE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST IN OUR SALVATION!
John 3:14-15 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 8:28 - Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I AM (he*), and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father has taught Me, I speak these things.
Note: The word "he" is not in the Greek text; it has been added by the translators, thus negating the significance of the words "I AM." There are several examples of this in the King James Version.
Romans 5:8 - But God commended (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 - For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures....
2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He (the Father) has made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (Jesus).
OUR WORK IN OUR SALVATION!
John 6:28-29 - Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you BELIEVE in Him Whom He has sent (BELIEVE in Me).
Romans 11:6 - And if by grace (undeserved favor), then is it no more by works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be by works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Galatians 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified (made right with God) by the works of the Law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the Law: for by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace (undeserved favor) are you saved through FAITH; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT OF GOD: not of works, lest any man should boast.
Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us....
RELIGIONS ALL HAVE A FORMULA ON HOW ONE CAN BE SAVED!
JESUS SAID, I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE;
NO MAN COMES UNTO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY ME!
