GENUINE BELIEVERS DO THE WILL OF GOD!
Matthew 7:21 - Not everyone that says unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.
Matthew 12:50 - For whosoever shall do the will of My Father Who is in heaven, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother.
Mark 3:35 - For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is My brother, and My sister, and mother.
1 John 2:17 - And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides forever.
THE GLORY FOR THE BELIEVER'S WORKS BELONGS TO GOD!
John 6:29 - Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on Him Whom He has sent. (See John 3:16-18; 1 John 4:10 - God sent Jesus, His Only Begotten Son)
Ephesians 2:10 - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:13 - For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
1 Peter 5:10-11 - . . . the God of all grace, Who has called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. To Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
For by grace are you saved through faith;
and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
not of works, lest any man should boast.
