OUR SALVATION IS TOTALLY BASED UPON GOD'S MERCY AND GRACE!
Mercy: Forgiveness of sin - not getting what we deserve!
Grace: His righteousness - getting what we do not deserve!
John 3:16-18 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes in Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.
John 6:44 - No man can come to Me, except the Father Who has sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He (The Father) has made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-10 - But God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, has quickened (made alive) us together with Christ, by grace you are saved. - - - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
Philippians 1:6; 2:13; 3:9 - Being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. - - - For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. - - - And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the Law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.
BECAUSE OUR SALVATION IS TOTALLY THE WORK OF GOD,
THE BORN AGAIN BELIEVER OUGHT TO BE RECOGNIZED BY
GRATITUDE, HUMILITY, LOVE, AND SUBMISSION TO HIM!
