WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

THE RELIGIOUS ASK THE WRONG QUESTION!

Matthew 19:16 - And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

Mark 10:17And when He was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to Him, and asked Him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

Luke 18:18 And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
John 6:28 - Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

Acts 16:30 - And (he) brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

THE CORRECT ANSWER TO THEIR QUESTION!

Matthew 19:26 - But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Mark 10:27 - And Jesus looking upon them said, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Luke 18:27 - And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

John 6:29 - Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on Him Whom He has sent.

Acts 16:31 - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved....

FROM OUR NEW BIRTH UNTIL WE ARE
FACE-TO-FACE WITH HIM, SALVATION
IS TOTALLY THE WORK OF GOD!

John 1:11-13 - He came unto His own, and His own received Him not.  But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons (children) of God, even to those who believe on His name:  who were (are) born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:5-8Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water (our physical birth) and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.   That which is born of the flesh is flesh (our physical birth); and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto you, You must be born again.  The wind blows where it listeth (wills), and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell whence (from where) it comes, and whither (where) it goes:  so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand;  by which also you are saved , , , , For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures;  and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures....
Galatians 3:2-3This only would I learn of you, Did you received the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by the hearing of faithAre you so foolish?  Having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh?

Ephesians 2:8-10 - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

Philippians 1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

1 John 3:1-2Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons (children) of God:  therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.  Beloved, now are we the sons (children) of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

A PRAYER THAT SUMS IT ALL UP!

Hebrews 13:20-21Now the God of peace, Who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.
