THE SON OF GOD AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD INTERCEDE

ON OUR BEHALF WITH GOD, OUR HEAVENLY FATHER!

Isaiah 53:12 - Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul unto death:  and He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

[Note:  Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53 provide prophetic descriptions of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ!]

Romans 8:26-27, 34 - Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And He that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. - - - Who is He that condemns?  It is Christ Who died, yes rather, Who is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us.

Hebrews 7:24-25 - But this Man (Jesus), because He continues ever (is eternal), has an unchangeable priesthood.  Wherefore He is able also to save those to the uttermost who come unto God by Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them.

THERE IS ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN, 

THE MAN CHRIST JESUS!

Galatians 3:16, 19-20 - Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made.  He did not say, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy Seed, Who is Christ. - - - Wherefore then serves the Law (what then is the purpose of the Law)?  It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to Whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of the Mediator.  Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

1 Timothy 2:5 - For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus!

Hebrews 8:6 - But now has He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the Mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Hebrews 9:14-15 - How much more shall the blood of Christ, Who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?  And for this cause He is the Mediator of the new testament (new covenant), that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, those who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Hebrews 12:22-24 - But you are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the Firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant....

THERE IS BUT ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN:  JESUS CHRIST!

THERE ARE TWO INTERCESSORS FOR MAN WITH THE FATHER:

THE SON OF GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, WHO IS GOD AS WELL!

THERE ARE THREE THAT TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH OF GOD:  

1 JOHN 5:7 - FOR THERE THREE THAT BEAR RECORD IN HEAVEN:  

THE FATHER, THE WORD, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT:

AND THESE THREE ARE ONE!
