THOSE WHO FAIL TO LEARN FROM HISTORY, ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT!

MOCKERS AND SCOFFERS!

Genesis 19:14And Lot went out, and spoke unto his sons-in-law, who married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city.  But he seemed as one that mocked (tsachaq - one who was joking or jesting) unto his sons-in-law.

1 Kings 18:27And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked (hathal - to ridicule, here, using sarcasm) them, and said, Cry aloud:  for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure (perhaps) he sleeps, and must be awakened.

Matthew 20:19And shall deliver Him (Me) to the Gentiles to mock (empaizo - to abuse for fun), and to scourge, and to crucify Him (Me):  and the third day He (I) shall rise again.

Matthew 27:29And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head, and a reed in His right hand:  and they bowed the knee before Him, and mocked (empaizo - abused for fun) Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH AND LOT,
SO IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS!

Luke 17:26-29 - And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man (of My return).  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage (they were living in total disbelief of Noah's preaching), until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot (his sons-in-law mocked him); they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Hebrews 11:6-7 - . . . without faith it is impossible to please Him:  for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

1 Peter 3:3-9, 20 - Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers (empaiktes - doubters, mockers), walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of His coming?  For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (metanoia - to have a change of mind; here, from doubting God, to believing Him). . . . when once the long suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

2 Peter 2:5 - And (God) spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. . . .

THIS MAY BE YOUR LAST WARNING!

BELIEVE IN JESUS; DO NOT DOUBT HIM!

JUST AS THE FLOOD WAS FORETOLD
AND MANKIND MOCKED NOAH,
TODAY, BY FAILING TO TRUST IN JESUS,
YOU ARE MOCKING THE WORD OF GOD!
