THE TRINITY: PLURAL NOUNS AND PRONOUNS!
Genesis 1:26-27 - And God (Elohiym is plural) said, Let Us (plural) make man in Our (plural) image, after Our (plural) likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God (Elohiym) created man in His own image, in the image of God (Elohiym) created He him; male and female created He them.
[Note: Man, in the image and likeness of God, is also a triune being - See 1 Thessalonians 5:23 which reads: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.]
Deuteronomy 6:4-5 - Hear, O Israel: The LORD (Yehovah "The Existing One" is singular) our God (Elohiym is plural) is one LORD (Yehovah): and thou shalt love the LORD (Yehovah) thy God (Elohiym) with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
THE TRINITY: ALL THREE IDENTIFIED AS GOD!
John 1:1, 14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - - - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Acts 5:3-4 - But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? While it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
Hebrews 1:8-9 - But unto the Son He said, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even Thy God, hath anointed Thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
[Note: The writer of Hebrews is quoting Psalm 45:6-7.]
THE TRINITY: PRESENTED TOGETHER AS EQUALS!
Matthew 3:16-17 - And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon Him: and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is My Beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased.
Matthew 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost....
John 5:18 - Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 10:29-30 - My Father, Who gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are one.
Philippians 2:5-8 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
1 John 5:5-7 - Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit Who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
