BASED UPON THE CONDITION OF THIS WORLD, HIS RETURN FOR HIS CHURCH CANNOT BE MUCH LONGER!

THE ATTITUDE OF THOSE WHO REJECT THE GOSPEL

2 Peter 3:3-4 - "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of His coming?  For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."

THE ATTITUDE OF THOSE WHO HAVE ACCEPTED THE GOSPEL

John 14:1-3, 6 - "Let not your heart be troubled:  you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I AM, there you may be also....Jesus said unto him, I AM The Way, (I AM) The Truth, and (I AM) The Life:  no man comes unto the Father, but by me."

Romans 8:22-25 - "For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.  And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, (that is), the redemption of our body.  For we are saved by hope:  but hope that is seen is not hope:  for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for (it)?  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it."

1 Corinthians 1:3-8 - "Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; that in everything ye are enriched by Him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:  so that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:  Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ."

1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 - "For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Who delivered us from the wrath to come."

2 Thessalonians 3:3-5 - "But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.  And we have confidence in the Lord (concerning) you, that you both do and will do the things which we command you.  And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ."

Hebrews 12:1-2 - "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

James 5:7-8 - "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord.  Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.  Be ye also patient; establish your hearts:  for the coming of the Lord (is drawing) nigh."
