THE "I AM" OF EXODUS 3:14, STILL IS!

GOD IDENTIFIED HIMSELF BY HIS RELATIONSHIP TO ABRAHAM

Genesis 26:24 - And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I AM the God of Abraham thy father:  fear not, for I AM with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for My servant Abraham's sake.

Exodus 3:6 - Moreover He said, I AM the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.  And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Matthew 22:31-32 - But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I AM the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?  God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Mark 12:26 - And as touching the dead, that they rise:  have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spoke unto him, saying, I AM the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

Acts 7:30-32 - And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.  When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him, Saying, I AM the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.  Then Moses trembled, and dared not behold.

WHY DID GOD IDENTIFY WITH ABRAHAM?

Romans 4:3 - For what saith the Scripture?  Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Galatians 3:6 - Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

James 2:23 - And the Scripture was fulfilled which said, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness:  and he was called the Friend of God.

IT IS ALL ABOUT FAITH IN GOD!

Hebrews 11:1-2, 6 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  For by it the elders obtained a good report. --- But without faith it is impossible to please Him:  for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Romans 1:16-17; 10:17 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith. --- So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

John 3:14-17 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 14:6 - Jesus said unto him, I AM THE WAY, (I AM) THE TRUTH, and (I AM) THE LIFE:  no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.

RELIGION WON'T GET YOU TO HEAVEN!

GOOD WORKS WONT' GET YOU THERE!

ONLY FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST SAVES!
