THE PRE-TRIB
RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH
AS TAUGHT BY JESUS IN JOHN 14:1-6
Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And whither I go you know, and the way you know. Thomas said unto Him, Lord, we know not where You are going; and how can we know the way? Jesus said unto him, I AM The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.
AS TAUGHT BY THE APOSTLE PAUL IN 1 THESSALONIANS 4:13-18
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so those also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
THE TIMING OF THE RAPTURE
John 3:36 - He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.
Romans 5:8-9 - But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Ephesians 5:6 - Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
1 Thessalonians 1:10 - And to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Who delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 - For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
Titus 2:13 - Christians are...Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. [Note: Christians are taught in God's Word that the Rapture occurs Pre-Tribulation. If the Tribulation were to occur before the Lord comes for His Church, we would be dreading what lies ahead, instead of looking beyond it to His Post-Tribulation return!]
Revelation 4:1 - After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter. [Note: John represents the Church Age, and his being called up to heaven pictures the Rapture of the Church. The Church is not mentioned one time between Revelation Chapters 6 - 18, which describes the Tribulation (a.k.a. Daniel's Seventieth Week - Daniel 9:24-27; and The Time of Jacob's Trouble - Jeremiah 30:7).]
Revelation 6:16-17 - And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
ARE YOU READY? IS JESUS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR?
