JESUS WAS, JESUS IS, AND JESUS IS TO COME!

Revelation 4:8

"And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; 

and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, 

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come." 

Jesus was:

*  Matthew 2:1-2 - "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews?  For we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him."
*  John 12:12-13 - "On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet Him, and cried, Hosanna:  Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord."
*  John 19:19-20 - "And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross.  And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.  This title then read many of the Jews:  for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin."
*  Mark 16:9 - "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven devils."

Jesus is:

*  John 20:30-31 - "And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book:  but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name."
*  1 John 2:21-22 - "I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?  He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
*  1 John 4:14-15 - "And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God."
*  1 John 5:1-2 - "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God:  and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of Him.  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments."
*  1 John 5:4-5 - "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:  and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"

Jesus is to come:

*  Matthew 16:28 - "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in His kingdom.
*  Matthew 24:3, 27, 30, 37, 39 - "And as He sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be?  And what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world? * For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. * And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. * But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. * And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
*  Ephesians 1:20-21 - "Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come."
*  Matthew 26:64 - "Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven."
*  Revelation 1:7-8 - "Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him:  and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.  Even so, Amen.  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
