BY FAITH, WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD

CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION
IT IS A PARENT / CHILD RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

JOHN 1:1-3, 10-13
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[2] The Same was in the beginning with God.
[3] All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
[10] He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.
[11] He came unto His own, and His own received Him not.
[12] But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the (children) of God, even to them that believe on His name:
[13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

ROMANS 8:8-16
[8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
[9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.
[10] And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
[11] But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.
[12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
[13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:  but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
[14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
[15] For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
[16] The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

1 JOHN 3:1-3
[1] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the (children) of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.
[2] Beloved, now are we the (children) of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
[3] And (all) that hath this hope in Him purifieth (themselves), even as He is pure.
