JESUS, THE I AM: EITHER LOVE HIM, OR FEAR HIM!

GOD IS THE GREAT AND FEARFUL I AM!

Exodus 3:13-14* - And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is His name?  What shall I say unto them?  And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:  and He said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.

Genesis 28:13-14* - And, behold, the LORD stood above it (the ladder in Jacob's dream), and said, I AM the LORD God of Abraham your father (grandfather), and the God of Isaac (your father):  the land whereon you lay, to you will I give it, and to your seed (your descendants); and your seed (and they) shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south:  and in you and in your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Ezekiel 13:7-9* - Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, whereas you say, The LORD said it; albeit (and yet) I have not spoken?  Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord GOD.  And My hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies:  they shall not be in the assembly of My people, neither shall they be written in the writing (the record) of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I AM the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 23:46-49* - For thus says the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them (an official assembly upon them), and will give them to be removed and spoiled (have their property taken).  And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch (kill) them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.  Thus will I cause lewdness (sexual immorality) to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your (their) lewdness.  And they shall recompense your lewdness (pay for their sexual immorality) upon you, and you shall bear the sins of your idols (be punished for your idolatry):  and you shall know that I AM the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 24:21-24* - Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane (declare unclean) My sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left shall fall by the sword.  And you shall do as I have done:  you shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.  And your tires (your fancy turbans) shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet:  you shall not mourn nor weep; but you shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.  Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign:  according to all that he has done shall you do:  and when this comes, you shall know that I AM the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 28:20-24* - Again the Word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Zidon (Sidon, an ancient Phoenician city on the Mediterranean coast north of Tyre), and prophesy against it, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of you: and they shall know that I AM the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.  For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I AM the LORD.  And there shall be no more a pricking brier (a thorn in the side) unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I AM the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 29:6-10* - And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I AM the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.  When they took hold of you by your hand, you did break, and rend all their shoulder:  and when they leaned upon you, you broke, and made all their loins to be at a stand (stand still; remain and endure).  Therefore says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon you, and cut off man and beast out of you.  And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I AM the LORD:  because he had said, The river is mine, and I have made it.  Behold, therefore I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.

JESUS DECLARED HIMSELF TO BE THE I AM!

Mark 14:60-62* - And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Do You have nothing to say?  What is it which these bear witness against You?  But He held His peace, and answered nothing.  Again the high priest asked Him, and said unto Him, Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?  And Jesus said, I AM:  and you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

John 8:23-24, 58* - And He said unto them, You are from beneath; I AM from above:  you are of this world; I AM not of this world.  I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins:  for if you do not believe that I AM (the word "he" is not in the Greek text), you shall die in your sins. - - - Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

John 13:13-19* - You call me Master and Lord:  and you say well; for so I AM.  If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet.  For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.  If you know these things, happy are you if you do them.  I speak not of you all:  I know whom I have chosen:  but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.  Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, you may believe that I AM (the word "he" is not in the Greek text).

John 18:3-9* - Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns and torches and weapons.  Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom do you seek?  They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth.  Jesus said unto them, I AM (the word "he" is not in the Greek text). And Judas also, who betrayed him, stood with them.  As soon then as He had said unto them, I AM, they went backward, and fell to the ground.  Then He asked them again, Whom do you seek?  And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.  Jesus answered, I have told you that I AM (the word "he" is not in the Greek text):  if therefore you seek Me, let these go their way....

THE GENTLE JESUS WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR US,

IS SOON TO RETURN TO JUDGE THIS WORLD!

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO FACE HIM AS YOUR JUDGE

WITHOUT HAVING TRUSTED IN HIM AS YOUR LORD?
