JESUS IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, BUT ALL WHO TRUST IN HIM ARE THE ADOPTED CHILDREN OF GOD!

JESUS IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD!

John 1:14, 18 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. - - - No man has seen God at any time; the Only Begotten Son, Who is in the bosom (in the heart) of the Father, He has declared Him.

John 3:16-18For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but (shall) have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believes in Him is not condemned:  but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.

1 John 4:9 - In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent His Only Begotten Son into the world, that we might live through (faith in) Him.

ONLY BEGOTTEN:  GOD IS LITERALLY HIS FATHER!

Isaiah 7:14 - Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel (Immanuel is Hebrew for the Greek Emmanuel).

Matthew 1:18-25 - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise (happen this way):  when as His mother Mary was espoused (engaged) to Joseph, before they came together (before they consummated their marriage), she was found (discovered to be) with child (pregnant) of the Holy Ghost (by the Holy Spirit; God - see Acts 5:3-4).  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily (thought to divorce her privately).  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David (from the lineage of King David), fear not to take unto you Mary your wife:  for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost (the Child she is carrying is the Son of God).  And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call His name JESUS:  for He shall save His people from their sins.  Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet (Isaiah), saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child (pregnant), and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.  Then Joseph, being raised from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had bidden (commanded) him, and took unto him his wife:  and he knew her not (did not consummate their marriage) until she had brought forth her firstborn son (first of at least five brothers, and an unspecified number of sisters - Matthew 13:55-56): and he called His name JESUS.

Luke 3:21-23 - Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, You are My Beloved Son; in (with) You I am well pleased.  And Jesus Himself began to be about thirty years of age, being as was supposed the son of Joseph, who was the son of Heli . . . .

ALL THE REST OF GOD'S CHILDREN ARE ADOPTED!

Romans 8:14-18 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons (children) of God.  For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Galatians 3:26 - For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 1:4-6 - According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:  having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,  To the praise of the glory of His grace (the unmerited favor of God towards mankind), wherein He has made us accepted in the Beloved.

1 John 3:1-2, 10 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him (Jesus).  Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. - - - In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:  whosoever does not righteousness (does not practice doing the right thing; God's will) is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

BEING BORN PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY!

John 3:3, 5-6, 8 - Jesus . . . said . . . Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. - - - Except a man be born of water (our physical birth) and of the Spirit* (our spiritual birth), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit* is spirit.* - - - The wind* blows where it lists (chooses), and you hear the sound of it, but you can not tell whence it comes (from where it comes), and whither it goes (and where it goes):  so is (it is with) every one who is born of the Spirit*.

Note:  *The Greek "pneuma" can be translated as "wind," "breath," and "spirit," depending on the context.  Jesus breathed His last, giving up His spirit, when He died for our sins (Luke 23:46; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)!  Salvation is a gift; it cannot be earned (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)!

JUST AS YOU DID NOT CONTRIBUTE
ANYTHING TO BEING BORN PHYSICALLY,
YOU CAN DO NOTHING TO CONTRIBUTE
TO BEING BORN AGAIN SPIRITUALLY!

IT IS TOTALLY THE WORK OF GOD HIMSELF!
YOU EITHER BELIEVE IT OR YOU DON'T!
