GOD IS, WAS, AND SHALL ALWAYS BE IN THE PRESENT TENSE!
Exodus 3:13-15 - And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is His name? What shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me unto you: this is My name forever, and this is My memorial unto all generations.
John 8:54-59 - Jesus answered, If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing: it is My Father Who honors Me; of Whom you say, that He is your God: yet you have not known Him; but I know Him: and if I should say, I know Him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know Him, and keep His saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily (truly, truly), I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.
Then took they up stones to cast at Him: but Jesus hid Himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ, the same YESTERDAY, and TODAY, and FOREVER.
Revelation 1:4-8 - John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from HIM WHO IS, and WHO WAS, and WHO IS TO COME; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne; and from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him Who loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also who pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. I AM Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, WHO IS, and WHO WAS, and WHO IS TO COME, the Almighty.
THE FAITH THAT SAVES THE LOST IS ALWAYS PRESENT TENSE!
John 3:14-18 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (See Num. 21:4-9), even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.
John 9:35-38 - Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said unto him, Do you believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is He, Lord, that I might believe on Him? And Jesus said unto him, You have both seen Him, and it is He Who talks with you. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped Him.
Romans 10:9-13 - That if you shall (publicly) confess with your mouth (your faith in) the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek (non-Jew; Gentile): for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
1 Peter 1:18-21 - For as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation (empty, worthless religious way of life) received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of the Lamb without blemish and without spot (sinless: see 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 4:15): Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by Him do believe in God, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
1 John 3:1-2 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, NOW ARE WE THE CHILDREN OF GOD, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
THE REASON GOD DOES NOT ASK "DID YOU BELIEVE,"
OR "WILL YOU BELIEVE," IS BECAUSE HE WANTS YOU SAVED!
THOSE WHO ARE SAVED, DO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST!
1 CORINTHIANS 12:3 - ". . . NO ONE SPEAKING BY THE SPIRIT
CALLS JESUS ACCURSED (REJECTED BY GOD): AND NO ONE
CAN SAY (CAN TRUTHFULLY SAY) THAT JESUS IS LORD,
BUT BY THE HOLY GHOST (SPIRIT)!"
