TO WHOM DO YOU BELONG?

GOD SEALS ALL THAT BELONGS TO HIM!

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 - Now He Who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God; Who has also sealed* us, and given the earnest** of the Spirit in our hearts.  

[Notes:  
* "To Seal" means to 1) declare ownership; 2) insure secrecy; 3) preserve or limit for a time;
** "The earnest" is "a pledge or a down payment guaranteeing that the total shall be paid."]

Ephesians 1:13-14 - In Whom you also trusted, after you heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation:  in Whom also after you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, Who is the earnest* of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.

Ephesians 4:30 - And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, by Whom you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

2 Timothy 2:19 - Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows those who are His.  And, Let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Revelation 7:1-8 - And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.  And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God:  and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.  And I heard the number of those who were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.  Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand.  Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

Revelation 8:1 - And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

Revelation 9:1-4 - And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth:  and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.  And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.  And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth:  and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.  And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Revelation 10:1-4 - And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:  and he had in his hand a little book open:  and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars:  and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.  And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write:  and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

Revelation 20:1-3 - And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Revelation 22:7-10 - Behold, I come quickly:  blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.  And I John saw these things, and heard them.  And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.  Then he said unto me, Do it not:  for I am your fellow-servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of them who keep the sayings of this book:  worship God.  And he said unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book:  for the time is at hand.

ALL WHO HAVE TRUSTED IN JESUS ARE SEALED 

BY GOD UNTIL THE DAY WE ARE FULLY REDEEMED;  

AT THAT TIME, WE SHALL FINALLY BE LIKE JESUS!

1 John 3:1-2 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God:  therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.  Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
