"THE RAPTURE" ACCORDING TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
John 14:1-6 (According to my understanding) - Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I AM, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know. Thomas said unto Him, Lord, we do not know where you are going; so how can we know the way? Jesus said to him, I AM The Way, I AM The Truth, and I AM The Life: no man can come unto the Father, but by Me.
"THE RAPTURE" ACCORDING TO THE APOSTLE PAUL!
1 Corinthians 15:50-54 (According to my understanding) - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all have died when Jesus comes for us, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump (the "last call" to believers in Christ): for the trumpet shall sound, and those who died believing in Christ, shall be raised incorruptible, and those still living shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1 Thessalonians 1:5-10 (According to my understanding) - For our Gospel (the only message from God that has the power to save those who believe it - Rom. 1:16-17; 1 Cor. 15:1-4) came not unto you in Word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as you know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. And you became followers of the Lord, and us, having received the Word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost: so that you were examples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. For from you sounded out the Word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God is spread abroad; so that we needed not say anything. For their faith showed that you received our testimony, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and to wait for His Son to return from heaven, Whom His Father raised from the dead, even Jesus, Who has delivered us from the wrath that is coming upon the earth.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (According to my understanding) - But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have died, that you sorrow not, even as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, the souls of those who died believing in Jesus, will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those whose bodies lie in their graves. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we who are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 (According to my understanding) - For God has not appointed us to experience the wrath that He is about to pour out on this world, but He has appointed us to be saved from His wrath because we have faith in His Only Begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we are living when He comes for us, or whether we will have already died, we shall all live together with Him. Therefore, comfort one another, and encourage one another, even as you have been doing.
Note: "THE RAPTURE" is the common term for Christ's removal of believers prior to the wrath of God being poured out on the unbelieving world. It comes from the Latin "rapiemur," which means to be "caught up" as in "the moment," or "overwhelmed by what is happening." The original Greek has "harpazo" which is translated elsewhere in the New Testament as "take by force," or "pluck up."
JESUS IS COMING TO REMOVE BELIEVERS AT A TIME SIMILAR TO THE DAYS OF NOAH, WHEN TOTAL WICKEDNESS REIGNED (Gen. 6:5). JUST AS NOAH WAS LIFTED UP (IN THE ARK) PRIOR TO THE FLOOD, BELIEVERS WILL BE LIFTED UP BEFORE THIS SIN-SICK WORLD WILL EXPERIENCE THE WRATH OF GOD!
IF YOU HAVE NEVER TRUSTED IN JESUS, DO IT TODAY!
