THERE IS BUT ONE RACE: THE HUMAN RACE!
Acts 17:24-26 (As I understand the text) - God, Who made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; neither is He worshipped with men's offerings, as though He needed anything, seeing He gives life to all, and breath, and all things to men; and He has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth...!
THE HUMAN RACE CAN BE TRACED TO A SINGLE COMMON ANCESTOR!
In his book entitled Mapping Human History, published in 2002, Steve Olson traces the history of mankind, saying that it is a mathematical certainty that all humans have a common ancestor, and scientists have even gone so far as to call her "Mitochondrial Eve." The Bible concurs!
Genesis 1:26-28; 3:20 (As I understand the text) - And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. - - - And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
In Genesis 5:1-32, God's Word shows the genealogy of Noah, the tenth generation of man. His sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, were the eleventh generation. So even the world-wide flood that killed all but eight people, did not break the chain from Adam to you and me.
SINCE ALL OF HUMANITY IS RELATED, WHY DOES RACISM EXIST?
Racism is nothing more than a person holding the false view that God made his "race" superior to all other "races" (based upon nothing more than skin pigmentation), and that all "races" are inferior: in other words, it is one person thinking more highly of himself than he should! Racism is a tool of Satan! Because it is based upon hate, Satan uses it to incite conflict between peoples. God's children are commanded to love others, even their enemies, but those who reject God follow their demonic role-model, seeking to steal, to kill, and to destroy! While believers are admonished to have faith, hope, and love, Satan exudes doubt, hopelessness, and hate!
GOD LOVES ALL OF HUMANITY - HE PROVED IT!
John 3:16-17 (As I understand the text) - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
Romans 5:8-9 (As I understand the text) - But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (As I understand the text) - Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did plead with you through us: we beg you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God. For He has made Jesus to be sin for us, Who Himself was sinless; that we might be made as God intended in Him.
1 John 2:1-2 (As I understand the text) - My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and He is the acceptable payment for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
THOSE WHO TRULY LOVE THE LORD,
LOVE THEIR NEIGHBOR ALSO;
REGARDLESS OF HIS COLOR!
