THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!

ONLY MATTHEW USES THE PHRASE "KINGDOM OF HEAVEN:

THESE HAVE PARALLEL VERSES THAT USE "KINGDOM OF GOD!

Matthew 4:17 - From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent:  for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.  [Mark 1:14-15 have "kingdom of God"]

Matthew 5:3 - Blessed are the poor in spirit:  for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  [Luke 6:20 has "kingdom of God"]

Matthew 10:7 - And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.  [Luke 9:2 has "kingdom of God"]

Matthew 11:11-12 - Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding, he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.  [Luke 7:28 has "kingdom of God"]

Matthew 13:11 - He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.  [Mark 4:11 has "kingdom of God," as does Luke 8:10]

Matthew 13:31 - Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field.  [Mark 4:30 has "kingdom of God"]

Matthew 19:14 - But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto Me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.  [Mark 10:14-15 has "kingdom of God," as does Luke 18:16-17]

Matthew 19:23 - Then said Jesus unto His disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.  [Mark 10:23 has "kingdom of God," as does Luke 18:24 - it is noteworthy that Matthew 19:24 has "kingdom of God"] 

ALL THE VERSES THAT MENTION THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM!

Matthew 4:23 - And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew 9:35 - And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Matthew 24:14 - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Mark 1:14-15 - Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent, and believe the gospel.

JESUS IDENTIFIES THE KINGDOM AS HIS!

Luke 22:29-30 - And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as My Father has appointed unto Me; that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Revelation 20:4-6 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:  and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and who had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.  This is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST WILL BE THE FULFILLMENT OF THE PROPHECIES CONCERNING ISRAEL'S MESSIAH, WHO SHALL RULE ON THE THRONE OF DAVID!  HIS IS A JEWISH KINGDOM.  JESUS IS NEVER CALLED THE "KING OF THE CHURCH":  TO US, JESUS IS OUR SAVIOR, OUR LORD, AND OUR GOD!
