DANIEL'S 490 YEAR PROPHECY* Daniel 9:24-27 - God determined that from the command to rebuild Jerusalem, until the Crucifixion of the Messiah, would be 483 years of the 490 year prophecy. Seven years remain to be fulfilled. Those seven years will be known as The Seventieth Week of Daniel, or The Time of Jacob's Trouble, or the Tribulation. This seven-year period ends with the Second Coming of Christ, and is described in Matthew 24:3-29 and Revelation 6:1 - 19:21.
THE 1000 YEAR REIGN OF CHRIST* Revelation 20:1-15 - Following Christ's Second Coming, He will rule with a rod of iron for 1000 years. During that time, Satan will be prevented from influencing mankind. At the end of the 1000 years, Satan will be freed to lead the nations of this world against Christ and His people, Israel. However, Jesus will cast Satan into the Lake of Fire, to join the Antichrist and the False Prophet, who were cast there 1000 years earlier.
ETERNITY WITH GOD IN THE NEW HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTH* Revelation 21:1-7 (SLV) - "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And He said unto me, It is done. I AM Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give unto him that thirsts of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be His God, and he shall be My son."
HOW DOES ONE "OVERCOME?"* 1 John 5:4-7 (SLV) - "For whosoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He Who came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
