THE DEATH OF JESUS CHRIST WAS FORETOLD IN THE SCRIPTURES
* Genesis 22:8 - "And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a Lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together." [See Jn. 1:29 - "The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world."]
* Psalm 22 - All!
* Isaiah 53 - All!
* Daniel 9:26 - "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off (killed), but not for Himself...."
[See Heb. 4:15 - Jesus "...was in all points tempted like we are, yet He was sinless!"
* Matthew 26:2 - "You know that after two days is the Feast of Passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified."

THE BURIAL OF JESUS CHRIST WAS FORETOLD IN THE SCRIPTURES
* Isaiah 53:9 - "And He made His grave...with the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth." [See Mt. 27:57-60 - "When the evening was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple: he went to Pilate, and begged for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded His body to be delivered. And when Joseph had taken Jesus' body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had cut out of the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed."
THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST WAS FORETOLD IN THE SCRIPTURES
* Matthew 12:40 - "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."[See Jonah 1:17; 2:10 - "Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights....And the LORD spoke unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land."
* Psalm 16:9-10 - "Therefore My heart is glad, and My glory rejoices: My flesh also shall rest in hope. For You will not leave My soul in hell; neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption."
[See Acts2:24-25; 13:34-35 - "Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be held by it. * 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 - "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures!"
